We are thrilled to introduce a range of powerful features that provide admins and supervisors with unprecedented flexibility and efficiency in managing shift templates. These enhancements streamline the scheduling process, allowing for easier creation, editing, and management of the schedule.

Highlights:

  • Quick Shift Template Details: Quickly view shift template details when selecting a shift, enabling faster decision-making and scheduling adjustments.

  • Create Custom Shift Templates: Create custom shift templates directly within the Manage Shift Templates slide-out. This feature empowers users to design tailored templates to suit specific scheduling needs.

  • Streamlined Shift Template Management: Access and manage shift templates swiftly via the hamburger (quick actions) menu, enabling easy selection, editing, and deletion of templates.

  • View and Sort Shift Templates: Easily view and manage shift templates with options to filter and sort, enhancing visibility and organization.

Pay On-Demand

Control employee balance calculations from your POD dashboard!

We're thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature in our Pay On Demand (POD): admins can customize how employees' available balances are calculated from their POD dashboard. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and control over POD processes, empowering administrators to tailor the balance calculation method to suit their organization's needs.

Enhance the control and accuracy of Percent of Wage Limit settings within the POD dashboard. Admins attempting to override employee-level POD settings with a value exceeding the company's predefined percent of wage limit will receive an error message, ensuring compliance and preventing inadvertent discrepancies.

Enhanced employee guidance for Pay On-Demand (POD) requests!

A valuable enhancement to our POD feature: tooltips for employee balance dates. These tooltips provide employees with clearer information about their POD requests, ensuring they are better informed and empowered when requesting a POD.

Tooltips have been added to employee balance dates within their POD dashboard, offering additional clarity for employees.

Last Paycheck Period End: If the company has the setting "lastpaycheckperiodend" enabled, employees will now see a tooltip providing information about the last paycheck period end date.

Current Period Begin Date: Similarly, if the company has the setting "currentperiodbegindate" enabled, employees will see a tooltip explaining the availability of POD requests from the start of the current pay period until the end of the same period at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Improved Absence Request Handling!

A significant enhancement to the absence request approval process in Time and Labor. Users approving absence requests will now encounter a new pop-up with expanded options, providing greater flexibility and control over how absences are recorded and processed.

Record with next default upcoming payroll:

  • This option maintains the current functionality and serves as the default selection. When chosen, the system will continue to record or record/pay the absence for the payroll period corresponding to the requested absence dates.

Pay with a specific payroll:

  • Select a specific payroll to record or record/pay the absence request. This option provides increased flexibility, allowing users to align absence recording with different payroll cycles or requirements as needed.

Users can now utilize the "GetWeekOfYear" function when creating custom expressions. This function allows for dynamic calculation and retrieval of the week of the year based on specified date parameters.

When creating custom expressions within the system, users can now incorporate the "GetWeekOfYear" function to retrieve the week of the year for a given date.

The addition of the "GetWeekOfYear" function gives users even greater control and flexibility over their data analysis and reporting processes.

Default Scheduled Date for Special Payrolls!

The default scheduled date for special payroll has been upgraded to report today's date. This improvement streamlines the payroll creation process, ensuring greater efficiency and accuracy for users.

An automatic default date is used when creating a special payroll; the scheduled date will now default to the current date. This simplifies the payroll setup process, saving users time and reducing manual input errors.

Sick Leave Accrual Template Updates

We have made updates to our sick leave accrual templates, enhancing compliance and efficiency for our users. Here's what's new:

Added Sick Leave Accrual Template for Illinois State:

Additionally, we're thrilled to introduce a new sick leave accrual template designed specifically for users in Illinois. This new template enables users in Illinois to seamlessly track and manage sick leave in compliance with state regulations, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Added Sick Leave Accrual Template for Minnesota State:

  • We've introduced a new sick leave accrual template specifically tailored to meet the requirements of the Minnesota state sick time policy. This addition ensures that users in Minnesota can accurately track and manage sick leave in accordance with state regulations.

Removed Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN Sick Leave Accrual Template:

  • To streamline our offerings and align with statewide policies, we have removed the Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN sick leave accrual template. With the updated template reflecting Minnesota state regulations, users can effectively manage sick leave without redundancy.

Removed Duluth, MN Sick Leave Accrual Template:

  • Similarly, the Duluth, MN sick leave accrual template has been removed to maintain consistency with the Minnesota state sick time policy. This simplification ensures that users across Minnesota have access to the most relevant and up-to-date tools for managing sick leave.

These updates reflect our commitment to providing users with the tools they need to effectively manage sick leave while ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations. We're dedicated to continuously improving our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our users.

System Fixes

  • While processing payroll, switching between employees, and saving check details, the user is pushed to the employee list

  • Adding/updating an absence with a Start/End Time is only saving with the time and today’s date

  • State withholding allowance not showing in the employee’s tax screen

  • Users are redirected to login screen when running reports

  • Creating employee with multi-division reports employee in the wrong division

  • Report writer- Add button not visible when user clicks outside of field

  • The employee dashboard showed the total employee count, even if a security filter put some limits on viewing the employee count.

  • Valid routing numbers not being accepted in the company setup wizard

  • PayrollSummary report is not recognizing user updates to the Start/EndDate

  • System report PayrollCountStats is not loading when large number of employees are added

  • Schedule Filter/Group doesn't load when CostCenter 5 is not present

  • General Ledger - Add scroll bar for filter drop down so user can view and select from all available filters

  • Check Type for blocking certain earnings is not working when processing a payroll, only blocks earnings when used at an employee level
