Feature Focus - September 2024
This month, Fingercheck introduces several key updates designed to improve payroll compliance, scheduling coordination, and internal communication. Significant changes include support for Certified Payroll Reports, Team Schedule View enhancements, and the new Team Chat feature. We have also updated HR Compliance to enhance the user experience. These updates improve workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, and team transparency.

- Certified Payroll Reports: Simplified reporting for federal construction projects with support for Form WH-347 and New York State reports.
- Make sure to set up weekly payroll schedules and configure "Import Dates from Time Card" under Setup > Company > Default Settings for Certified Payroll Reports.

- Certified Payroll Reports Fingercheck streamlines certified payroll reporting for government construction projects. Request slide out didn’t displa- the correct number of open shifts: Admin users can now view full details of open shifts, including start and end times and job, when clicking the eye icon on the request slide-out panel.

Employees’ monthly view not displayed: Employees will now be able to see all scheduled shifts for the entire month, resolving issues where only partial months were shown.

Calendar didn’t show November 9th due to daylight saving time: Users whose work weeks begin on Sundays will now see a complete week with no missing days, even around daylight saving changes.

Employee calendar view displayed an 8-day workweek: Regardless of the chosen start date, the employee calendar will now correctly show a 7-day workweek, regardless of the chosen start date for the workweek.

Missedch displayed as no punch: Admins will no longer encounter the incorrect "missed punch" indicator in the hover view when no punch exists.
Team Chat

Groups: Member counter not updating and group not displaying in “Recent”: Group member counts will now update accurately, and groups will display correctly in the "Recent" tab.

Attach options not fully visible in threads (Safari): Safari users will see all attachment options when using the + icon in threads.

Timestamp misplacement: Message timestamps will always appear correctly on the left side.

Groups remained on the list after leaving the group: Users who remove themselves from a group will now see that group removed from the recent groups list.

Sound on even when setting is off: The notification sound is now fully disabled when users have turned it off in their settings.

Security users could be edited to remove required fields: Users will no longer be able to save security user records without completing all required fields, such as first and last names.

Saving a new tax work location (TWL) creates an exception/error: Users will no longer encounter errors when saving a new TWL.
