New to Workflows: Triggers and Actions!

We're excited to announce the latest additions to our workflow automations: Triggers and Actions!

Triggers allow you to automatically kick off a workflow when a specific event occurs, so you can spend less time manually starting workflows and more time focusing on your work. With triggers, you can start a workflow as soon as a specific condition is met. For example, you can trigger a workflow to start when a new employee is activated, or a team member changes their profile information. Once the trigger is activated, a series of steps will be executed automatically. Our first available trigger is the status change of a field in the Employee profile. You can create a trigger from the TRIGGER tab on the Workflows page, or you can add a trigger when creating or editing a workflow. Triggers you create are available for all of the workflows in your library.

You can also add automatic actions to workflows. Our first available action is to automatically send an email. Within a workflow, you can add this action by clicking Add > Action or by clicking Add Action within a group or tasks and actions. Similar to tasks, you can move actions up and down within a workflow.
